NLVetplan: our preventative health plan
What is our Vetplan?
Vetplan is a subscription for preventive care to help you in the care of your pet. This means that you:
- Receive regular reminders to pick up preventative treatments for worms, fleas and ticks, on top of the reminders for the yearly health check and vaccination.
- You can pay the costs of preventive care per month in the form of a monthly subscription.
- You work with us to ensure that we prevent as many diseases as possible, or detect them as early as we can, allowing your pet to grow old as happily and healthily as possible.
- You receive an extra discount on our products and services
Vetplan basic plan
What care is included in the basic Vet Plan for dogs and cats?
- The annual health check and standard vaccinations with the veterinarian
- A check-up with the veterinary nurse, for example a dental check-up or for nutritional advice
- Treatment for worms, fleas, and ticks as recommended by the ESCCAP (excluding extra deworming for travel abroad)
- Unlimited nail trimming
- 15% discount on additional vaccinations (kennel cough, bordetella, and rabies)
- 10% discount on dental cleanings and food
Are you already insured for (some) preventative care? In most cases, you can claim the costs of the VetPlan from your insurer.
Vetplan plus plan
In addition to the basic plan, we also have a more comprehensive plus plan. This is specifically intended for older animals, allowing us to detect and monitor chronic diseases even more effectively.
In addition to the preventive care in our basic plan, you are entitled to:
- a second check-up with the veterinarian
- for dogs: an annual blood test to check organ functions and a urine test
- for cats: an annual blood test to check the organ functions and thyroid, a urine test, and a blood pressure measurement
Vetplan rabbit
We also have a plan available for rabbits. This includes:
- The annual health check and standard vaccinations
- A check-up with the veterinary assistant
- 2 bags of 3kg Supreme Science Selective rabbit food per year
- Unlimited nail trimming
